#StayAtHome: Best Animal Livestreams

Puppies! Kittens! …Penguins? In a stressful time what better distraction than some furry (or not so furry) friends on livestream? Perhaps you’ve had to socially isolate away from your pet, or you’re an animal lover in need of a pick me up. Here, we’ve compiled some of the best animal livestreams from around the world for you!

  1. Service Puppy Cam

With puppies from 4 weeks old, get your dog fix with this livestream from Maryland. All of the puppies are being socialised before they become service dogs.

  1. Rescue Kitten Cam

A rescue centre in LA has a live stream of kittens in their special private room! So small, so fluffy, so soothing.

  1. Vancouver Aquarium – Jellyfish Cam

If you’ve ever had a fish tank you’ll know how oddly calming it is to watch the fish swimming around – so why not try jellyfish?! Take five minutes to watch them floating around and feel the stress lift. Bonus: the Vancouver Aquarium also has sea otters!

  1. Edinburgh Zoo

See if you can catch a glimpse of Edinburgh’s panda Yang Guang. According to the website “Yang Guang is a very special boy with a sweet nature. He loves eating bamboo and gets through 20 kilograms every day. His favourite treat is honey and he also enjoys having a midnight snack to get him through the night.’ Have a look at what he gets up to! Edinburgh also has penguins, tigers and koalas to watch too!

  1. San Diego Zoo

You don’t need to travel all the way to California to get the San Diego experience. The San Diego Zoo has plenty of cameras to choose from. From butterflies to polar bears, and koalas to burrowing owls, you’re sure to find something you’d like to watch. We recommend the penguins and elephants – look out for the baby!
